Studio Favorite: The Tactile Allure of Tassels and Fringe
We are completely captivated by the resurgence of tassels and fringe! Far from being a nostalgic throwback, this trend is re-emerging in modern design as a sophisticated way to add depth and personality.
What we love most is the case with which these elements can elevate even the simplest design scheme. A clean, minimalist sofa, for instance, is instantly softened and enriched by a pillow edged in luxurious, silk like fringe. It's a quiet detail that introduces texture and a hint of the unexpected, transforming an ordinary piece into a focal point.
This tactile trend carries an inherently feminine and approachable quality, inviting warmth and softness into a space without compromising on style. Look for tassels and fringe on everything from drapery tie backs and lampshades to the hems of area rugs and decorative upholstery.
